Antiracist March – action days against police violence

In August 2021, Roger Nzoy Wilhelm, originally from Zurich, was shot dead by three police officers. In December 2024, the public prosecutor's office dismissed the case against the police officers who killed Nzoy. The officers' deadly racist violence was thus legitimised. During Antiracist March 2025, we want to confront the many ugly faces of racism with all our diversity, whether through direct actions, round tables, networking meetings, film screenings or exhibitions. From resistance against evictions to organising against the far right, we show that the racist system is not untouchable, but vulnerable!

In August 2021, Roger Nzoy Wilhelm, originally from Zurich, was shot dead by three police officers. In December 2024, the public prosecutor's office dismissed the case against the police officers who killed Nzoy. The officers' deadly racist violence was thus legitimised. The anger aroused by Nzoy's murder and the trial of the police officers involved has resulted in recent years in a vast resistance movement. The fight for justice continues in the courts and on the streets.

The cases of Roger Nzoy Wilhelm, Mike Ben Peter, Lamin Fatty and Hervé Mandudu have shown that we cannot rely on the State and its institutions and that we must express our resistance ourselves. Whether it is by loudly and clearly expressing our solidarity with the relatives and victims of racist police violence or by denouncing the omnipresent racism of the State.

Far-right parties are gaining influence in Europe and around the world, migration and segregation policies are being tightened, solidarity movements are being criminalised and confronted with state repression. Police violence and the harassment of migrants remain a daily occurrence, and racism is reflected in the systematic oppression and exploitation of people of colour in almost all areas of life. And despite these developments, moments of solidarity and resistance take place regularly, manifesting themselves in the most diverse forms. During Antiracist March 2025, we want to confront the many ugly faces of racism with all our diversity, whether through direct actions, round tables, networking meetings, film screenings or exhibitions. From resistance against evictions to organising against the far right, we show that the racist system is not untouchable, but vulnerable!

Let's fight together for a world free from oppression and exploitation! Let's show that our diversity is our strength and that we can unite our many experiences to create a common force. From 10 to 23 March 2025, let's network, participate, show solidarity and organise against racism - on our way to an anti-racist March!
